Student Check Out:

  • Please check and update your approved contact information in Parent Portal. We can only release students to individuals listed in Parent Portal.
  • Please have a government issued photo ID out to be viewed to confirm identification for check-outs and visiting.
  • You can email us ahead of time if you are planning to check your student out during the school day. The email must come from an email listed in Parent Portal. Send requests to AAI-attendance@forsyth.k12.ga.us
  • Please plan ahead. Our latest check out is 2:30 PM.

Student Attendance:

  • If your student is out sick for the day, please email attendance AAI-attendance@forsyth.k12.ga.us
  • If you need to send in an excuse/medical note, please have your student drop it off in the main office attendance basket upon returning to school.

Forgotten items/Food drop off: In order to avoid disruptions to classroom instruction and ensure that the front office can operate efficiently, we ask that you observe the following rules:

  • Retail food deliveries are not allowed for students.
  • Parents can drop off forgotten items in the morning and then text their student to remind them to pick up the item(s) from the main office during lunch. Students are allowed to check phones during lunch and will see the reminder at that time.
  • If a student forgets their Chromebook at home, we have a process in place for them to borrow a Chromebook for the day. There is no need to drop off Chromebooks.
