School Information

• Please check and update your approved contact information in the Parent Portal. We can only release students to individuals explicitly listed in the Parent Portal.
• Please have a government-issued photo ID ready to be viewed to confirm your identity for check-outs and visiting.
• You may email us ahead of time if you are planning to check your student out during the school day. The email must come from an address currently listed in the Parent Portal. Send these requests to AAI-attendance@forsyth.k12.ga.us.
• Please plan ahead. Our latest check-out is 2:30 PM.

• If your student is out sick for the day, please email attendance at AAI-attendance@forsyth.k12.ga.us.
• If you need to send in an excuse or medical note, please have your student drop it off in the main office attendance basket upon returning to school.

In order to avoid disruptions to classroom instruction and ensure that the front office can operate efficiently, we ask that you observe the following rules:

• Retail food deliveries are not allowed for students.
• Parents can drop off forgotten items in the morning and then text their student to remind them to pick up the item(s) from the main office during lunch. Students are allowed to check phones during lunch and will see the reminder at that time.
• If a student forgets their Chromebook at home, we have a process in place for them to borrow a Chromebook for the day. There is no need to drop off a forgotten Chromebook.
