Georgia Virtual Schools (GAVS) Important Dates

All questions related to Georgia Virtual Schools (GAVS) should be directed to Ms. Jen Foster (JFoster1@forsyth.k12.ga.us). 

** Please note that Forsyth County Schools' deadline does not follow the GAVS registration deadline. There are two dates for the Fall and Spring Semester. 

Please follow ALL steps for GAVS Registration: 

1. FALL/SPRING REQUESTS: Complete the Forsyth County Schools (FCS) Online Course Application - Infinite Campus
2. Create a GA Virtual School student account (GA Virtual Register Account)
3. Search for the course(s) needed and add to GA Virtual "backpack" 

Key points to remember: 

• GA Virtual A courses: 1st semester of the course (Fall)
• GA Virtual B courses: 2nd semester of the course (Spring)
• Please register for BOTH courses to register for a GA Virtual Course
• GA Virtual Courses will only be approved after the FCS Online Course Application (Infinite Campus) has been completed.

 

 FOR CLASS OF 2026 & 2027:  Upon completion of the course(s) you will need to complete the form below to have the grade posted to your transcript.

FOR CLASS OF 2028 & BEYOND: Upon completion of the course(s) you will need to complete the Parent Portal Credit Acceptance Form (See instructions)
