Graduating Seniors

Senior dues are $185.00, and paid online through 3RD Ascent and cover the cost of your cap, gown, tassel(s), diploma, diploma cover, pathway medallions, pins, and all other costs associated with your graduation ceremony.

Reminder

Thank you to everyone that has already paid senior dues. If you have not yet paid, you should have received an email regarding payment. Caps, gowns and tassels will be distributed in late April in time for seniors to participate in Senior Walks at the elementary schools (schedule coming in April) and other community related events. Yearbook Sales and Distribution: Yearbooks will be distributed to seniors who have ordered a yearbook on Friday May 1 during our Senior Signing Event. You don't want to miss out on this tradition, so if you haven't ordered one yet, please click on the link below and order your yearbook now!

Graduation and Senior Event Speeches: Seniors are encouraged to audition for an opportunity to speak at one of the senior events or graduation. The application to be a speaker will be sent to seniors through Canvas. Auditions will take place after school on March 17.

Graduation National Anthem Singer: Senior singers are encouraged to audition for an opportunity to sing the National Anthem at Graduation. Auditions will take place after school on March 17. The application will be sent to all seniors through Canvas.

Junior/Senior Prom: This year we will host prom on Friday April 17 at Lanier Technical College near the Collection. Tickets will go on sale March 16.

Senior Signing / Yearbook Distribution: On Friday May 1, seniors will celebrate their last face-to-face day of high school with a light breakfast, yearbook distribution and senior signing event on the AAI Back Patio beginning at 8:00 AM. We encourage seniors to sport spirit wear from whichever institution is the next stop on their journey. Seniors who purchased a yearbook will pick them up that morning and have the opportunity to autograph our annual map of senior destinations and friends' yearbooks.

Monday May 11: Senior Week Kickoff We host three events on May 11 to kick off this very important week:

Senior Awards Night: This event is by invite only and begins the evening with a gathering in the Junior Achievement Center at 5:00 PM. Invites will be given to seniors before May 1.

Graduation Practice: At 6:00 PM we meet with the Class of 2026 in the cafeteria. There we go through the plan for the graduation ceremony and students pick up honors cords, tassels, medallions and pathway pins. Dinner will be served. Each student will also receive 6 tickets to graduation and 2 parking passes. See below section on Graduation Day for more information.

Senior Sunset: After graduation practice and dinner, students can gather on the top floor of the parking deck (weather permitting) and watch the sunset. We encourage students to bring their yearbooks and enjoy some time with friends and classmates.

Diploma Pick Up: Monday May 18 1:00-3:00 PM. Stop by AAI during this window to pick up your diploma. During the graduation ceremony students will receive a diploma cover, but to assure that the diploma stays in excellent condition, we do not distribute the actual diploma during the graduation ceremony. Counselors will be in front of school on May 18 to deliver your diploma.

End of Pathway Exams / Credentials of Value: Most students in the third year of a pathway will take an EOPA exam. These exams will take place during the testing window of April 14-24. CTAE teachers will have specific information for students in third level pathway courses.

AP Exams: AP Exams will take place May 4-15. All AP Exams take place at AAI and students will receive specific information about each exam from their AP teachers. For more information about AP Testing, click HERE.

Virtual Week/Senior Final Exams: All FCS High Schools will have a Virtual Learning week May 4-8, 2026, to accommodate AP and EOC testing. The last day of class for seniors will be Friday May 1. Seniors who must take a final exam in a course will need to report to AAI May 4, 5 or 6 from 9:00-2:00 each day to take any final exams. Students who have earned a 90% or higher in a class, or are taking an AP Exam for a class are exempt from final exams.

The Alliance Academy for Innovation Class of 2026 will celebrate Graduation on Saturday May 16, 2026 at the FoCAL center. The schedule for the day is below:

12:00 PM Students report to FoCAL center and enter through the back entrance of the building. Students must be wearing their cap and gown. We ask students to follow Dress for Success criteria under their gowns. No phones or other electronic devices allowed. We encourage students to car pool as parking is limited.

1:15 PM Doors will open for families at this time. There is no reserved seating. Each student will receive 6 tickets to the ceremony on May 11 at graduation practice. Parking is limited and each family will receive 2 parking passes. We encourage students to car pool.

2:00 PM Graduation Ceremony begins. Students are seated on the stage and will receive their diplomas by pathway school. Cady Studios will take two poses of each graduate with their diploma which will be available to purchase after the ceremony. The ceremony will be live streamed for friends and family who are unable to attend. The link will be shared on our website before graduation day.

This year we will continue the tradition of sending each senior off with an Applause Letter.

What is a Senior Applause Letter? Senior Letters are positive letters written to our graduating seniors, congratulating, wishing the senior well in their next endeavors, or reminiscing on fond memories.

When will the seniors receive the letters? Seniors will get the letter(s) at graduation practice and Senior Sunset on May 11.

How do I write a senior letter and get it to a student? The letters can be written on any kind of card or paper. Please make sure they are in an envelope and write the FULL NAME of the student to whom the letter is addressed. The more information you give us, the easier it is for us to make sure the letter gets to the right person.

What if somebody outside of school (grandparents, family friends, etc.) wants to send a letter? Letters can be mailed to the school (clearly marked with student name), or dropped off in the box in the main office.

Can people send items other than letters? No, we can only accept cards or letters.
